The layout of this timber home plan gets an A-plus. All of the main areas (master bedroom, great room, dining area and sunroom) have a good view, yet angles make it an interesting set up.

The two powder rooms on the main level have great accessibility. They can be accessed without having to go through a bedroom, yet they can also be closed off so they feel more private.

Staircase placement can make or break the flow of a room. This one makes a statement in the foyer, yet it’s tucked into the back of the great room so it doesn’t eat up floor space.
