The beams are placed at 5-foot, 4-inches on center in the classic Lindal module. Posts are western red cedar and beams are top-quality, horizontal glue laminated. The Lindal post-and-beam building system allows for superior design flexibility, as some of the interior walls act as load-bearing supports for the roof. Interior walls can, therefore, be placed virtually anywhere in the home. Lindal uses nothing but top-grade, kiln-dried framing members throughout the home. Exterior siding is available in one of four major styles. All doors, stair assemblies, caulking, glue, nails, window flashing, insulation, trim and finish materials are included. Garages and basements (including all-weather wood foundations), Arctic wall and roof systems for severe climates, connectors and steel doors are also part of the package. The Lindal custom design department can design a Lindal home to fit any need. At Lindal, every home is a custom home. A lifetime structural warranty is included with every Lindal package.
